Dear members,
Once again this year, we are looking for club champions in the ladies’, men’s and
mixed doubles categories.
This year, everything is being turned on its head and a new tournament system is
being introduced. The most important thing first: every player will have at least
three and up to a maximum of six matches, provided there are enough entries, and
the tournament will take place over a longer period of time.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 5th July
OPEN LADIES AND MENS
Group stage (6th of July – 30th of August)
In this stage, the men and ladies will be split into groups of four. Everyone will play
everyone else in their group.
When the groups are drawn, we will make sure that every group includes players
from all performance levels.
During the period from 6th of July to 30th of August, you will organise and play your
matches yourselves. This means contact details will need to be exchanged
between opponents so you can arrange the matches.
Please let Martin or Bartosz know when you are playing, and after the match
please send them the result immediately, within two hours. If the result is not
submitted within that time, the match will be cancelled. Please send it via
WhatsApp, Signal or a message.
Courts are not reserved exclusively for you, but you may use the court for the full
required match duration.
Three balls will be provided for each match. You can find them behind the counter
in the clubhouse. Please only take three balls, in case one gets used up.
Knockout round (31st of August – 16th of September)
The group winners and runners-up will progress to the main knockout draw, and the third placed to
the consolation knockout draw.
The forth round will be played from the 31st of August to the 8th of September, and quarter-finals will be played from the 9th of September to the 16th of September . All four
semi-finals will then be played on 18th of September. From 5pm onwards.

The finals of the main and consolation draws in the ladies’ and men’s categories,
as well as the matches for third place, will take place on 19th of September. Times
will be announced later.
MIXED DOUBLES
Group stage and knockout round (20th September)
The group stage and knockout round will be played on 20th of September.
In the group stage, teams will be split into groups of three or four, with everyone
playing everyone else.
The group winners will move on to the main knockout draw and the runners-up to
the consolation knockout draw. The semi-finals and finals will then be played in
each draw.
Matches will be played as one set, with no-ad scoring. At 6:6, a match tie-break
will be played.
In the finals, two sets are played to four games. If the set score is level, a match
tie-break will be played.
To help cover the costs of balls, prizes and so on, this year we are charging an
entry fee of €8 per player for singles and €5 per player for mixed.
Registration is completed once the entry fee has been paid. You can register and
pay directly with Bartosz Swiatek or Martin Hagemann, or by PayPal transfer to
martin.hagemann79@gmail.com, including the reference LTC26 + the name(s) of
the participant(s) + whether it is for singles, mixed, or both.
Example: LTC26_Max_Mustermann_Singles.
On the weekend when we hold the finals and the mixed tournament, there will be a
barbecue and drinks as well. We would also be very happy to receive additional
treats such as salads or cake. It would be best to ask Bartosz and Martin in
advance what else is needed, if anything. They look forward to your calls or
